One More Twist Book Box is a carefully curated book box for the busy woman who needs a reminder that it's okay to give herself permission to read. This bi-monthly (every 2 months) subscription box features an Australian thriller, suspense, or crime book, and is designed to create a cosy reading experience.

Our boxes are perfect for the woman who loves suspense, unexpected twists and immersive stories, yet struggles to take some quality time for herself. It's a bi-monthly curated gift for the person who deserves it most: you!
What do I receive in each book box?
Every book box is unique and includes a carefully selected Australian novel, along with thoughtfully chosen reading treats and surprises that complement your reading experience. Every box is curated to feel like a special gift to yourself.
Are the books I'll receive new?
Yes. Every book in your box is brand new and sourced from Australian publishers or authors.
Do you feature Australian authors?
Yes! Celebrating Australian storytellers is at the heart of One More Twist Book Box. We feature both well-known and emerging Australian authors.
Do you include indie authors?
Absolutely. We love introducing readers to talented independent or self-published Australian authors alongside traditionally published favourites.
What makes One More Twist Book Box different from other boxes?
Unlike many subscription boxes, we focus exclusively on Australian thrillers, suspense, and crime books. Every box is carefully curated to help busy women carve out a little time for themselves, discover incredible local authors, and remember the joy of getting completely lost in a story.
Subscription
Can I sign up at any time?
One More Twist Book Box is a bi-monthly book box, meaning you'll receive a box every other month (during the uneven months). As such, we operate with a closed cart module. You'll only have the chance to sign up at the end of an uneven month.
For example, the cart will open at the end of January to sign up for the March book box. At the end of March, the cart opens up for the May book box etc.
However, during closed cart times, you can sign up for the waitlist so you don't miss out on the next launch.
Am I able to skip a box?
Yes, but because our box is delivered every other month, you can only skip once. If you want to skip again, your box will be canceled instead. Simply, contact us with your request.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. We understand life gets busy. Simply, contact us with your request to cancel. Please note, once your payment has gone through, you won't be able to cancel for that box. Your cancellation will start after receiving your latest box.
Can I choose the book that goes in my box?
We carefully handpick our book choices which are the same for every box. However, when you subscribe, we give you the choice to receive a hint about the book before your payment goes through. If you're concerned about already owning it after receiving the hint, you may contact us to request the title.
When will I be charged?
You'll be charged every other month on the date you signed up during the previous launch. For example, if you signed up on 28 January, your next payment will occur on 28 March etc.
Shipping
Do you ship Australia-wide?
Yes! We deliver across Australia.
When will my book box be shipped?
Book boxes are shipped at the end of every even month or at the start of the uneven month. You'll receive tracking information as soon as your order is on its way.
Do you offer international shipping?
At this stage we're focused on delivering within Australia, but we may expand in the future.
Is shipping included in the box price?
No, shipping will be added at check-out.
Returns and Refunds
Can I receive a refund?
Depending on the reason, you may be eligible to receive a refund. Please, check our refund policy for more information.
What if my box arrives damaged?
If your book box arrives damaged, simply get in touch when receiving your order and include photos of the damage. We'll work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Australian Authors & Bookish Sellers
I'm a self-published author. Can my book be considered for your box?
Yes, but only if you meet the requirements. As our box features Australian books only, you'll need to be an Australian writer. Your books must also be in the genres of thriller, suspense, mystery, or crime. If this is you, feel free to contact me for more information.
I create my own bookish items and would love to work with you. Is this possible?
As an Australian small business owner, I welcome the opportunity to work with other small business owners. If you believe your items could be a good fit for my book box, please feel free to reach out.
If I apply to have my book or items included in your box, does this automatically mean they'll be featured in the next box?
Unfortunately not. To ensure that your book or items are perfect for my box, we carefully consider each application but it doesn't mean it's approved. As I aim to plan the boxes in advance, I also cannot guarantee your items will be featured in the next coming box. Please contact me and we can discuss your application.
